Advice

The Cork County & City Enterprise Board team are available to advise you on how to convert your business idea into reality and to assist you in developing and growing your business in the future.

Business Plan
It is always well advised to write up your own business plan as you have your own ideas and vision for how you wish your business to operate, grow and develop, however, the board can assist you in putting a structure and format to your plans and your ideas into words.

Financial Assistance
The Board can consider project applications that fall within our eligibility criteria for the following financial assistance packages.

• Financial Assistance / Refundable Aid
  Up to a maximum of 50% of the cost of fixed assets subject to a maximum amount of €75,000.
• Employment Grants
  Up to €7,500 per new full time job created involved in manufacturing, processing or internationally traded services businesses can be considered up to a maximum of ten new positions.
• Feasibility Study Grants
  Up to 50% of the cost of undertaking a feasibility study on an innovative new product or service may be considered subject to a maximum of €5,100.
• Equity Packages
  Up to €75,000 may be invested in high potential companies in the form of cumulative redeemable preference share holding.

Mentoring
The Board may appoint a business consultant to act as a mentor to your business to assist you in identifying obstacles and overcoming difficulties in areas such as production, finance, marketing, sales and distribution.

Business Training Courses
The Board provides a comprehensive range of business training courses, events and seminars to assist you in developing your business skills and knowledge.

Support
The Enterprise Board team is there to support you in business through the provision of assistance with any difficulties and problems you may have in the course of your business development.
