Cork County & City Enterprise Boards
In County Cork there are four Local County & City Enterprise Boards to assist you in setting up, developing and expanding your micro-enterprise Business. Cork City, North Cork, South Cork and West Cork.
The Boards assist those businesses employing less than ten persons based in County Cork. To find out which Board's catchment area you are in, please consult the Cork Map.
This site is an information portal for the four Boards and gives information about the many joint initiatives that the Boards are involved in.
The Enterprise Boards are companies, limited by guarantee, established by the Government under the Industrial Development Act 1995, to promote and encourage local enterprise development in Cork County & City. The Boards have an enterprise development function for the small to medium sized business sector employing up to ten employees involved in manufacturing, processing, or internationally traded services within their catchment areas.
The Enterprise Boards are funded by the Irish Government and the EU Structural Funds under the National Development Plan 2007-2013. Each Enterprise Board offers a range of business supports to assist you in starting, developing or expanding your business.
